TEHRAN -- Owj Media, an Iranian institution producing revolutionary works in art and cinema, has recently completed producing a romantic animation entitled “The Return”, which criticizes Zionism.

“The plot unveils one of the greatest calamities of mankind, i.e. Zionism,” director Mohammad Hamedani told the Persian service of MNA on Saturday.

In the story of the animation, which is set in 500, “Zionism tries to form a union with Christianity against the humanity,” he added.

“In this animation, we show respect for the monotheistic religions and we make a distinction between the Christianity plagued with Zionism and the true believers in Jesus Christ (AS). Consequently, the movie also centers on those Christians who raised objections against slavery and then were burned due to their faith, causing the first true Holocaust to occur in the history of mankind,” Hamedani stated.

“The animation has a dramatic, romantic and tragic story, which is formed based on its hero’s odyssey, during which the hero comes back to the right path after repenting of his sins,” he added.

The music for the 80-minute animation was composed by Behzad Abdi, who recorded it in Ukraine.

Hamedani plans to premiere the animation during the 34th Fajr National Film Festival, which will be held in Tehran during February 2016.
